Today marked the day that Ethan decided to roll over from his back to his belly and then back again. We are very proud of this little guy!

Tuesday night was a cold, wet night as it was foggy and drizzly. But, it made perfect weather to get bundled up and follow tradition amd walk Christmas Tree Lane. Ethan was awake for about half of it and really seemed to like all the lights. It mesmorized him! We went with our friends Josh, Stephanie, and their little one, Abi.

Our Trip to the Beach
Jon and I were very ready to leave town and go to the beach (my favorite place!). So, on 'Black Friday,' we left the shopping chaos behind and fled the city. It was an incredibly fun day. We spent some time with my family, who were camping near San Luis Obispo, rode bikes, played at the park, ate fish, played on the beach, ate a cinnamon roll, and walked the Embarcadero in Morro Bay.
Ethan and Jolie before they went down the slide.

I think he liked it . . . he kept running his feet through the sand.
(sorry the picture is the wrong way!)

Pedicures!
As a Mother's Day Gift, Kelley, Lisa, and I (along with our hubbies) teamed together to take the mom's to get their toes done. We finally got around to it last weekend. It was so much fun! We got our toes done at Be Be's in Fresno and then met up with our spouses and kids and had lunch together at Sweet Tomatoes.

Fun with Ethan
Soccer Fun
Jon has found a lot of fun playing in a indoor soccer league with some of the people he works with at the Air District. His soccer games are either on Wedensday or Thursday nights and sometimes Ethan and I go and cheer on the team. Here are some pictures from a recent game that Jon played.

San Francisco
Sunday marked our first out of town adventure with Ethan. We went to San Francisco for a day trip to cheer on Kelley, who was one of the many (and I mean, MANY) people that ran the Nike Women's Marathon. We are very proud of Kelley and were very happy to go and support her there (even if it was for a short time).
Our trip was marked by a very volcanicly explosive diaper at Casa de Fruta (that goodness we had stopped so I could feed him.), spending an hour trying to find a parking spot, getting there when Kelley had just finished the marathon in 5 1/2 hours (yeah!), Trying to find Jeff amidst the hords of people, and walking through Golden Gate Park.
We had a blast! Traveling wtih an infant is definately more difficult and time consuming, but we plan on taking him on many adventures.

Our Visit to the Pumpkin Patch
We decided to take advantage of this beautiful, although slightly warm, fall day and take Ethan to his first pumpkin patch. I think he would have enjoyed it, but he chose that time to take a nap. He ended up sleeping through the entire thing. We did however have time to take a few snapshots of our little family and lots of fall fun!
Dinner with the Heinrich Family
Jolie's grandma and sister made the trek to California to see Ethan before the midwest is overtaken by their first fall snowstorm. We got the whole family together to take a family picture of the whole family. We just keep growing!

Hanging out with the family

Surf's Up!
Ethan enjoys taking it easy and hanging ten on his tummy time mat. Right now he just sort hangs out and observes the things around him. Sometimes I wonder what he finds so interesting on the wall. He can stare at the wall for a couple of minutes and smile and coo like it is the most facinating thing in the world.
Ethan's first trip to Grandma's
Sunday we spent the afternoon hanging out with my (Jolie) parents, Dustin, Kristal, and Zoe. Our friend's the Fox's stopped by to meet Ethan. It was a lot of fun. We got some great pics of Ethan, Zoe, and Grandma. We are looking forward to getting the other two grandkids in a picture when the whole family can make it to a family dinner.
