Brunch time!

My sister, nephew and grandma are here from Wyoming. I love it when they are here . . . we have so much fun! However, this time has been swamped with sickness (them. . . and then Ethan and Weston) and fatigue (me), that we just haven't had a whole lot of time to hang out. But, before everyone got super sick, we got to have brunch at my parent's house. It was a fun morning. Ethan and George both LOVE Thomas trains and had so much fun running the trains across the carpet. George and Ethan love playing with each other. In fact, it's hard to believe they are a year apart (they are so close in size) and live so far away from each other. The picture in the middle was the first time my grandma held Weston. Such a precious memory!

Fun with Grandpa!

2 weeks after Weston was born, Jon had returned to work, and I had apppointments scheduled for me (post-op) and Weston (weight check). Since, I still wasn't allowed to really lift heavy things (like Ethan), my dad came to the rescue and hung out with the kids for a bit. On one of the days, he was able to bring our niece Zoe up to play with Ethan. They had a blast. Grandma and Grandpa (aka Arlene and Glen) had bought each of the grandkids a tool kit and Zoe and Ethan just LOVED playing with them! I think the saw was their favorite! They even had a chance to watch Seasame Street together and Grandpa got some snuggle time with Grandpa. I was so happy that family was able to come and help me out after Weston was born! It was such a huge blessing!

Our boys. . . .

I have been a huge slacker when it comes to blogging the past few weeks. I do have some stuff to blog about, but I thought I would quickly upload some of our recent favorite shots of our boys.
Doesn't Ethan take awesome pictures? Although, I think it's time I called to get Ethan another hair cut, it's getting a bit shaggy! Sunday marked Ethan's half birthday, making him a grand 2 1/2. Today he informed me that he is not Mommy's baby boy, but Mommy's big boy. He has been working really hard with potty training and loves getting chocolate each time he uses the potty. We are really working on underwear right now. I think he's getting it! We even ventured out to Target the other day with out any diaper on. . . no accident! Yeah! He really loves his little brother and tries so hard to help.

Here's a picture of our little Weston. He is getting over a really bad cold this week. But, when we went to the doctor for the cold he weighed in at 7lbs 8oz. He's still wearing newborn clothes, which is weird to me, because Ethan had long outgrown them by now (he's 5 1/2 weeks). He is doing a lot of sleeping, but when he is awake he has the most beautiful blue eyes and "smile!"

I promise to post something in the next few days. . . I promise!
