Jon and I went to the beach the week before. We needed more ocean air, i guess. So we brought the kids back for a fun adventure! This time, we met my parents for lunch in Pismo. Ethan loved meeting up with his grandparents!
And swinging with his grandparents!
and goofing off with grandpa!
I even tried to hit the quilt store, but they were closed. (enter sad face here). I got over it. In the picture below, Jon was giving me the look like, "another fabric store???". He is such a trooper!
The giant clam with a monarch butterfly painted on it.
Monarchs (again!)
Weston and Grandpa
Look at that face. . . can't get enough of it!
Butterflies are such amazing creatures!
Walking on the Beach. . . he can walk if he's holding someone's hand.
Avila pier
Ethan and Daddy in the water. This was before we all got wet by an unsuspecting wave.
Weston was a fan of the sand.
It was hard to get a picture of Ethan's happy face, because he was writing his name in the sand.
YAY!
Swing time!
More sand. Ethan will only go so close to the water. He loves the sand, but doesn't care for the water.
But, he'll do anything for ice cream!
Daddy bought Ethan his very own "guitar." Ethan was so excited that he wanted to play on the peach. Here he is singing his ABC's.
Ethan and I took a break to recline on some Adirondack chairs next to a really cool coffee shop.
It was fun! We will definitely be coming back to Avila sometime for another adventure.
