We celebrated Jon's 31st birthday last month with a yummy breakfast at La Boulangerie and our annual trip to the zoo. The day we went was the first day of their extended hours and the bird show. We were so excited! We got there just in time to watch the bird show and afterwards we got to take a picture with the owl. Ethan wasn't too sure about being so close to a real life owl, but it was still fun!
Jon took Ethan into the Small Wonders petting zoo and had a blast! Ethan kept trying to feed the goats and didn't want to leave, but Weston and I were getting lonely just watching.

Daddy and his boys! You can't see it in this picture, but both boys celebrated their daddy by wearing shirts that said things about dad in them. Weston was wild about dad and Ethan was Dad's road rebel. It was so much fun!
Jon wanted Boston Cream Pie for his birthday and Ethan loves to help blow out the candles. In fact, for the whole week leading up to the birthday celebration, Ethan was talking about candles and I forgot to buy some. . . so he was left with 7 pink and white ones. Oh well, they still had fun and the cake was so yummy! Happy Birthday, Jon!!!!
